Marianne has had the great honor of studying under and teaching alongside the renowned Gloucester Plein Air painter David P. Curtis. In May 0f 2016 she taught her first Plein Air/ Palette knife /Oil Painting workshop through the RAA. Benefitting from Mr.Curtis’ expertise in the field of Plein Air has expanded her vocabulary as she continues the conversation the Group of Seven and Tom Thomson began with the land. The love of the Canadian landscape, and the wrenching empathy with which she relates it is all her own. This is the story her life is devoted to telling.
